Derek Newcomer, C.I.H., C.S.P., C.H.M.M, company
principal, is certified in the
comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene
by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene,
in safety by the Board of Certified Safety
Professionals, and environmental and
hazardous waste by the Institute of
Hazardous Materials Management.
Past experience in the private and public sectors include enforcement and engineering with the EPA,
environmental project management, safety administrator, and industrial hygienist. Derek is
proficient in aspects of industrial hygiene, safety
management, environmental compliance and
mold remediation. Experience includes air
pollution permit development, hazardous
waste management, indoor air quality
investigations and
mold remediation. Mr. Newcomer is EPA AHERA
certified as a management planner/inspector
in asbestos, EPA certified in lead
inspection and risk assessment, and NEHA
certified for radon. He has a bachelor's degree in Environmental
and Hazardous Materials Management, a Masters of
Occupational Health, and a Masters of
Environmental Management.
